I am on a tight budget and I work at a job that does not allow us to have our nails done while working. So this means if I got my nails professionally done, I will be spending money to get them done, and then probably money to get them taken off (because I want french manicures and most places around me do french manicures with gel which requires you to come back in to get them taken off). I was thinking of just getting some stick-on nails. Today I am going to go to the store and try some but I was wondering if anyone else has done this and how it worked out?

The salon can do a manicure with regular polish and can put the gel on top of it to last longer. That’s what I did as I wanted a very specific color polish that they didn’t have in the gel. It lasted for 2 weeks. I removed it from home by soaking cotton balls in acetone polish remover, leaving the cotton ball on the nail and wrapping my fingers in aluminum foil. I left it on for about 15 minutes (that’s what they do in the salon). And it came off.

I was in the same boat thinking I would get the stick on nails but they look cheap and you may regret not spending the money. If anything get a gel manicure with a french so the color looks fresh and stays but you're not paying the fake nail price or getting crazy nails

Does your salon have Essie gel couture? If so this is a long lasting regular polish that comes off with polish remover no soaking required.
