diy Photobooth

kelsey, on October 15, 2018 at 1:07 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 6

Hey! i am thinking of making my own photo booth. Nothing fancy, just purchasing a polaroid camera and setting up a station where people can take pictures and paste them into a scrapbook. Has anyone done anything similar? Or would you suggest actually going with a photobooth?

    I’d check Groupon.

But DIY is always an option.

I haven't done it yet, but that's my plan too. They sell photobooth backdrop kits on Amazon for like less than $40. I got some gold fringe curtains and curtain lights to attach to it

I've seen some cute ideas for this on Pinterest. We were originally going to do a full booth but decided to switch to DIY. We are using Tacboard (cheaper than polaroid film) to collect the photos that people will take on their phones. My Dad and FH built our Paper Moon backdrop.

What a cool idea! I know a lot of our community members have made their own photobooths! I found some discussions that have some great tips/pictures of other community members' photobooths Smiley smile

I am doing the small Polaroid camera and I will have a cork board that we made where the will be able to hang them up that night and then we will put them in an album.

I'm thinking the same but one issue my fiance thought of is some people not knowing how to reload and messing up film. They will need to be reloaded every 10 shots. So that's something to remember. We bought just ask that the wedding party help an eye out in case anyone is having trouble.
