I am making 4 curtain-type panels out of lace to serve as a backdrop for my ceremony. See the picture attached. Someone else did something like this at our location, and it looked beautiful. The lace I purchased is difficult to sew. It keeps pulling and snagging. And trying to sew over 100ft of seams would have me pulling my hair out. My mom and I tested stitch witchery on a small piece of the lace and the seams look nice. My concern is the strength. Does anyone have any experience with Stitch Witchery or Heat N Bond? Or any other suggestions? I want to make sure these are strong enough to hang through the ceremony.
