diy table decor

So my colors are wine red and blush pink with A LOT of greenery. It’s an outdoor wedding and rustic. I am not the kind of girl who knows about flowers and floral arrangements ( I’m better with knowing about corn and crops😂). I really love glitter tho so would it be cheesy or tacky to do little tea lit candles, pink and red rose petals, and maybe some little fake rhinestones or silver glitter on the tables in a clear vase of some kind? Could someone help me? Lol

If you like glitter, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. Make sure the venue allows it.

Please don't use actual craft glitter, which is tiny cut metal pieces, hurtful for a contact lens wearer. But in general, reflective things are fine. Many use a craft mirror instead of a table mat under a centerpiece to reflect the light of candles or lanterns. ... Rhinestones, or generic faceted crystal bicones ( diamond shape) beads are sparkly too.diy table decor 1
    Have fun with it.

I don't think it will be tacky at all. If that's what you like then go for it

Those colors will be beautiful! Check with your venue about their restrictions on glitter. You can still do sparkly without the glitter.

Honestly I think if you use glitter and crystals it's not going to read as "rustic" at all. If you're really attached to the idea of sparkly things for decor that's fine, but then you should probably reevaluate your overall look that you're going for so that everything looks cohesive. Wood slices make a great base for centerpieces and are easy to find or make. Also candles and mason jars with flowers or greenery are easy and cost-effective to diy for someone who isn't experienced.

I don’t think it would be tacky especially if you went with metallic accents to fit in the rustic theme. Crystals work too! Agree with others and check with your venue. If we have glitter, they keep $200 out of the deposit automatically.
