Hey ladies!!! I just wanted to share how I made my diy two tier cathedral veil becasue I know I spent hours looking online for all the help but couldn’t find exactly what I needed.

I first found out the information on how long and wide it should be. A catherdal veil is usually 120 in. long and 108 in. wide. Now becasue I wanted a blusher, add 30 in. in length. I bought 5 yards of 108in. wide tulle from Joanne fabrics for $6.38 and the lace trim I bought off Etsy for $83. I found bridal trim I loved from hobby lobby but found the exact same lace for $30 cheaper on Etsy so that saved me a bunch. I used clear thread and a comb from hobby lobby.

Currently in the photos, only the lace trim is pinned to the tulle. I’m a full time student finishing my senior year a semester early so I’m really trying to find the ime to to sit down and begin the process. Plus I have 9 cats so that’s really hard to do with them trying to play in it Smiley xd 4 of them are mine and 5 are fosters Smiley heart

Also don’t mind the baggy wedding dress lol it needs to be fitted still and I’m not wearing my slip to add volume. PS, I also saved money by buying my wedding dress from a resale shop...$25 and it looks brand new.

Hi Amber! Your veil looks so beautiful! Have you decided how you're going to do your hair and makeup for the big day? What else have you been working on since you completed this project?

Since completely the veil I’ve been focused on finishing my senior year 😭 I’m taking 19 credits to graduate early this December 🤦🏼‍♀️ As for my hair and makeup. I want my hair up but kind of like in a loose bun while my makeup I want to be noticeable but still subtle. I don’t wear makeup 99% of the year so I don’t want to not look like myself.

You take the full and fold it hamburger style and make your cut and then unfold it and trim it up more to make it even that way it’s even on both ends
