I would like to do a unity cross for our unity ceremony during the wedding. My finance's grandpa can make one for us, but I'm not sure what I want it to look like. I'd prefer something that can hang on the wall in our home...and I want it to have 3 parts that come together to become one cross.

Has anyone done this? Can you show me pictures of what you used?

We ordered a unity cross on easy that has three cords that form the top parts of the cross, then we'll braid them together to form the bottom part during the ceremony. I considered trying to make it, but I decided to go against something like that since I've never tried something similar before and didn't want to end up with a different product than the image I have in my head.
