diy Wedding Arch w/ Artificial Flowers

Following!! This is very similar to my inspo, and we will be having and arch with drapery and flowers as well!

My stepdad is helping me build a copper chuppah (he’s incredibly handy) and then I’m getting fake flower arrangements from Etsy. Hoping to look something like this but mostly white with some blush.

Hi there Nicole! As a crafter myself, I wouldn't contemplate doing an arch without using artificial flowers. I'd want to get the arch done ahead of time and hot glue or tape or even staple the flowers without fear of them losing petals or dying and wilting. I'd keep it simple, though, to keep the clean up minimal as well as the cost.

Another community member made their own arch with what I think are artificial flowers because they made it a week or two before their wedding. You can see the end result here:

Have you got an idea of how you would put it together? Or what flowers you might want to include?

I actually want to do something similar at my wedding. Though my arch is the entrance of the gazebo where we'll be having the ceremony. I personally have been leaning towards getting some artificial garland (there are some at Afloral's website I've been liking the looks of!) and then attaching artificial flowers to the garland to bring in some of my colors. Though I know you can get artificial garland with some flowers already attached.

We already have an arch at the venue thankfully, and I’ve already purchased some fabric for it, I just need to figure out how I want to decorate with artificial flowers.

I’m helping my daughter with this. Can you use zip ties to tie arrangements to square wooden posts. We want to use a traditional wooden arch that is tall and rectangle shape.
