DIY Wedding Cross

Its 7 ft tall and gold. The actual cross was made by FH's friend as a wedding gift. I added the greenery and flowers. At the church the base will be covered. Thoughts? Seriously. I have more flowers I could add but I added these and got pretty happy.

I think it's beautiful with the flowers you've already placed. Anything more than that would distract from how amazing that cross is.

FFW, I think you did a great job. However, that's not my primary reason for posting on your thread. I'm aware of all the personal progress you've made while you've been a part of this community. When I first noticed you, your wedding seemed so far off; it's shocking to realize that your wedding is a few days away. Your wedding photos are something I can't wait to see.

You've reached so many goals -- passing the bar, gaining employment as an attorney, working long hours, and buying a beautiful, new home. Those are huge accomplishments! On top of all of that, you planned and financed a wedding. I've read your recent posts, and I know you're facing some challenges, but I have no doubt you will triumph over all of them. You deserve this wonderful, beautiful wedding, and I sincerely hope that you adore every minute of it.

Please, enjoy these last few days leading up to your wedding; they will be in your memory forever. On your wedding day, make sure to take it all in -- it will take some effort on your part, but you can do it (and you'll never regret it).

@beach bride the church actually does have a cross but we were told it cannot be moved from the atrium bc its too old & fragile. Its one item that survived hurricane katrina (our wedding is in New Orleans) so its very important that their cross doesnt get damaged.
