DIY wedding make up or professional?

I would do my own makeup before I did my own hair. There is no possible way I could formal-style my own hair, I do not have the skill set to do that. Unless I was a cosmetologist, and even then I don't think I would *want* to do it myself even if I could. As for the makeup- by the time you go buy all the really nice products, you will probably have paid more than the MUA costs. It is also a small cost in the grand scheme of wedding costs, so for me its a splurge that's worth it.

It was worth every dollar I spend on pro hair and makeup. One less thing for me to worry about that day. Unless you already have good products, you will likely as much on those, vs just hiring someone.

I'd hire a professional. The last thing you want to worry/stress about on your wedding day is your hair and make up. I am hiring one and paying $120 for airbrush make up and hair do. It all varies in what area you are in I am sure. I am in South FL.

Honestly, I was going back and forth between letting my best friend do my makeup, bc she offered and I like the way she does it..and hiring a pro MUA. I got married Nov 7 and ended up hiring the pro and omg, she made me feel so incredibly beautiful. I highly suggest hiring someone. The amount of money that you would spend on quality products would exceed just paying a MUA.

Pro for sure!! So worth it. Huh will look at these pictures for years and years to come.
