Hi Everyone,

I am trying to find a laskeside OR country wedding venue that allows you to bring your own bar and catering. Basically, I want somewhere that will rent the space for a flat rate and let me handle the rest. Anywhere along Lake Huron from Sarnia to Tobermory would be great, also anywhere in Muskoka. Country-Barn style is also good. Ideas?

Hi Sarah, just to let you know, those of us north of the border are few and far between on this site. There are venues you can search on the site, not a heck of a lot in Canada, but some. From my experience (I'm near Belleville) a lot of those places are word-of-mouth more than anything. So ask around your friends, neighbours, etc. Also look into conservation areas, there are a few I've come across that allow events, but they are very picky about waste and eco-friendliness (makes sense).
