Yes I am DIYing a lot of stuff because I want to save money, but I'm also just a crafty bored person! What else am I supposed to do while restaurants and gyms and parties are not allowed? Whoever told you that is rude and wrong.

I am DIYing for my wedding too so that I can have e design I went and in the long run should be a bit cheaper on my really low budget. Good luck!

If they have a problem, let them pay for your decorations !!! DIY can be very classy!!

There is NOTHING wrong with doing your wedding DIY, no need for it to be expensive. This is YOUR wedding. Don’t listen to others opinions.

Unless they want to pay for it, ignore them. Weddings are expensive, cut costs where you can. I plan to diy a lot of my things as well 😊

This is not cheap. I actually feel like it's become more sentimental to me. The person who called you cheap is materialistic and forgot the true meaning of what a wedding is about 🤍. Keep your head up you got this!

We are having an almost completely DIY wedding, but requesting formal attire. Nothing about it reads DIY or cheap to me...I’m hand making (foiled gold lettering with ink blended backgrounds) very elaborate invitation suite, we’re bringing in live Christmas trees, lighting up the trees all over the property, having a spiked hot chocolate/hot cider bar, we’re having a holiday style turkey dinner.....and we’re basically throwing a lavish Christmas party (Dec 17 is our date). It never crossed my mind that DIY means not formal.
