Diy????

Are you normally crafty? If not, your wedding is not the time to learn new skills. DIY is expensive so find what you like on Etsy and let them do the work. Because doing everything yourself, you have to factor your time and labor at minimum wage per hour, cost of supplies and your sanity. Purchasing on Etsy or renting through a local party rental business will be much more economical.

Yes most of my wedding decor is diy. I made my cake stand out of hola hoops from Pinterest. It turned out great. I am praying for you. I am pretty sure it will turn out beautiful. Take your time!

So we did some. My husband built our card box and my mother-in-law made our flower girl dresses and favors. I bought templates from Etsy for our programs and escort cards and customized them then had them printed at Office Depot. I definitely didn't attempt flowers because I'm not very crafty and I didn't want to a take on a project I wasn't sure would actually look like what I envisioned.

So true!!!! I have been looking on Etsy as well! No more projects for me! I am some what crafty though but I would rather save my bridezilla-tude for closer to the big day hahahhahah

I love DIY weddings! Almost everything at our wedding was DIY. The Signs (going down the aisle) decorations, center pieces, bouquets, hair piece (I wore), cake stand, was all DIY. Good Luck! and Have fun!!
