Here are my wedding shoes that I DIY strassed myself using E6000 glue and 5 different sizes of swarovski crystals in AB.

I also bought a bow shoe clip from etsy and strassed it as well to go with the shoes.

I actually used real Christian Louboutins for these, but only because I fell in love with the real Fifi Strass from Christian Louboutin that sell for $3,000. I was NOT going to be able to afford it for that amount, so I decided to just DIY it for 1/3 of that price.

First pic is of the shoe, sans bow. Second is with the DIY bow I made (it's a shoe clip, so you can remove it or wear it in a different location). Third pic is the work in progress (for those of you who are confused as to what I meant by "DIY"~Yes, I added the crystals myself. It took a total of 40 hours for the pair, and 15 for the bows)

Geez I can't believe a pair of Loubies cause this much of an outrage. They are shoes. I have several and have no problem adding crystals to mine if I had the time. I am with Esther I have no problem paying 1000 for a pair of shoes. 2500 for a pair to wear once is a bit out there. It is a huge saving to DIY. Great job. I read through a a lot of responds I think location and has a lot to do with it. Esther is from LA I am from Chicago. Big city girls love our designer duds. Period. When I visit friends and family from small towns or middle America they always comment on how much I pay for clothing and handbags. It's a lifestyle differnce that people need to respect on both sides. Just my two cents!
