DJ rates can really vary depending on the length of the ceremony and reception, their level of experience, etc.

1400 has been around the price I got for the very basics - 1 DJ no TVs or lighting. I got quoted $500 extra for uplighting and photobooths starting at 3 hours, $700 to $1000. We went with the basics. My future MIL may gift us a photo booth but if not I was going to a DIY photo booth with an iPad. Pretty much bounced around from DJ to DJ at one expo and around $1400 was the given price they all gave me, give and take.

I know I'm a bit late to this post but I just booked my DJ! The package was $3200 including ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception music, uplighting, and a photo booth. He also wanted to throw in live cocktail hour music for free but FH doesn't want it. I'm paying a lot less than I thought I would (I budgeted $5k) considering my DJ is so experienced and appears to be the best of the best.

I found a dj for 1650 including monogram, dancing on the clouds and some starry effect on the ceiling. Also am outsourcing the photobooth from a company who exclusively is just booth rentals. They beat any competitors price by 10% and am getting a mirror photobooth for 4 hours, props etc for $495. Just did a bit of google searching. I’ve negotiated with all my vendors and got my dj, photo, video (including same day edit and drone footage) and photobooth for $5,789 including taxes)

What are the dj company names you've booked for these prices? we're in the process of trying to find one for August 2019

We hired Eclipse Entertainment out of the PA area - they cover PA and South Jersey, we paid 1600$ for 5 hours of DJ, Emcee, photobooth with props, attendant and personalization (they also gave us a book with a copy of the photos taken, and uplighting.

My DJ is $675 but my wedding is not very long.

My DJ is 1650, getting dancing on the clouds, bliss lights, gobo light w/ monogram and uplighting. We outsourced our photobooth from a different company who is strictly photo booths. For a Mirror Me booth for $495/ 4 hours because the company will beat anyone’s price by 10% and they beat another outsourced company. DJs wanted around $900 for basic booths and $12-1400 for mirror me...we got a steal. Don’t be afraid to negotiate with your vendors

I’m using Djs available sound and light. For add ons they have a buy 2 get one free

Our DJ is 799.00 for 5 hours. But no lighting since venue has that. My photographer had a photobooth we are getting for 695.00
