We're having a bit of both as the man I've booked comes as a full package as I've booked his singing waiter package and he will be doing an hour set for us in the evening and then goes on to do the DJ set after. We have a wide range of music taste and he's catering to what we what opposed to the usual set lists most DJ and bands have. We can't wait!

Band, without a doubt! We've been to lots of weddings with both, and bands always seem to be much more interactive an fun. We managed to contract our biggest local band for ur wedding. We're so excited!

Having a DJ! It’s easier, because we don’t have to run into the problem of a band not knowing a song!

We picked a DJ, we wanted an eclectic blend of music played for everyone to enjoy.

DJ, for sure! My future hubby and I are both serious music lovers. We don't want a band to potentially butcher our favorite songs. Plus, our reception vibe will be to have people dancing all night long with us!

DJ! We almost did a band until we saw the cost difference. The larger the band, the more mouths to feed so we opted for one vendor plate.

DJ. One of my best friends is a DJ and he’s great at it. I think we both prefer recorded songs over live music especially not being performed by the actual artists

DJ, we were going to do a live musician for the ceremony but the DJ said they can get the version of the song we want in a file to play

DJ and live singers. We know lots of musicians willing to DJ the reception and sing for the ceremony

If you can afford a really good band then I would say go for a band. If they’re so/so I would stick to a DJ for sure.

Disk jockey for the reception, band for the ceremony since county ordinance says we can't have amplified music outdoors...
