We are creating our own song list and then just getting someone to be the master of ceremonies. So closest to a DJ but with us having full control over everything played.

We're having a DJ. We talked about having a band, we even discussed duelling pianos because we both enjoy them, but ultimately it came down to budget and this was far more feasible. In addition for the amount of tables we needed space would have been an issue if we didn't have a DJ.

FH wanted a band and I'd be fine with it, but that just wasn't going to happen financially. So we have a DJ, which is free for us. Of course I will give him a tip.
