Do bridesmaids need bouquets?

Alexisr2021, on April 14, 2021 at 6:59 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 13
Hi guys! So my wedding is June 13th and we are on a VERY tight budget however I still want everything to look nice so there are some things I don’t want to cut corners on too much. My main issue seems to be flowers I found some nice bouquets that I really liked from Lings Moments but the problem is their bridesmaids bouquets only come in packs of 4 and I have 5 bridesmaids lol 😬. They mentioned the DIY option to get my fifth one but I’m just so iffy about it because I’m scared it won’t all look the same (I guess I’m being picky)...so on that note what other items could my bridesmaids carry down the aisle? I’ve thought of lanterns but I need some more options and backup plans just in case the bouquets fall through lol.

Can you just pick up a few flowers and have them carry a single flower or something?

They can carry a single flower, a floral hoop, or paper flowers.

Holding a bouquet gives them something to do with their hands instead of fidgeting. Just get a $10 dozen roses bouquet at Walmart or Costco and divide them among your bridesmaids.

You can find inexpensive lanterns at dollar/craft store or a single rose will suffice. You can buy a dozen and give your bridesmaids one, one for the groomsmens boutonnières.

I think carrying a single flower is just fine.

Thank you guys for the ideas!!! I don’t know why I didn’t think to have them carry single flowers instead. That would be definitely the best option for me ❤️

My aunt did really big whimsical fake flowers- then kept them in a large floor vase after the wedding in her living room.

My cousin had her girls carry a single flower with a ribbon tied around it, it was pretty.

I know this is an out there idea, but my bridesmaids have flower crowns instead of bouquets and will carry wands I custom made for each of them. The guys have swords my husband custom made for them.
