If you actually ever participated in the forums instead of only being here to white knight bad ideas, you would know why this thread switched from bridesmaids gifts to cash bar weddings. And it's not about death from not drinking from one night, it's about properly hosting your guests and properly saying thank you to those you consider your nearest and dearest. That's all we are trying to convey to OP here. But, this wont be the first time you support a bad idea or the last. So-carry on.

@Irvine I passed up on your other posts but need to put my two cents in. Yes you need to thank your bridal party for being there for you! Is simple and polite. Someone's does something kind, sweet, and nice for you and you thank them. That's what good manners are. Please get some ASAP. People are legit trying to help you. Don't ask questions you aren't ready for the answers to. This is a forum for brides to bounce ideas off each other, learn what is right to do and what is straight up wrong to do. These ladies don't want you to look like a fool on your day, but if you are so dead set on looking like a fool then by all means have at it girl!

@Irmine, will you stay and post a BAM after the wedding? A "BAM" is a "Back and Married" where you talk about the day, give tips for future brides and post pictures (professional and non professional).

I am not but I am paying for my 4BM's dresses and hair&makeup.

^^That's not really a gift either. It's generous of course, but it's a dress they have to buy and hair and makeup I assume you prefer they get done.

@Reese Actually I am letting them choose whatever they want... sorry forgot to mention in my culture BMs are giving cash gifts to the couple but I am waiving all of them. But I totally agree with you on gifts to bridesmaids.
