“Do not play” songs??

Yes! I hate the Black Eyed Peas lol. Also I am having 2 max group dances- cha cha slide and the like. We will see what my DJ says...

I've never thought of this before but it's a great idea.

Our DJ asked us about this. We didn't give him any. We really couldn't think of any songs that we found so abhorrent it would ruin the day lol.

Our DJ asked us for a list of do not play songs. So far the only 2 we have is Cotton Eyed Joe and Single Ladies but once we get closer I'm sure we'll think of a couple more

We do! The wedding song of my FH's brother's wedding with his soon to be ex wife is on there for example. It's a rather painful song to listen to for him, so we decided it is better if it's not played.

YES! My fiancé hates at least 2 songs that always get played at weddings, so we are going to ask the DJ not to play them.

We have an online hub where we can add requests and do not play list. Single Ladies by Beyonce was the first song added to that list.

We have a very long list because my brother is a smart ass and would probably request some of these also had to throw Baby Shark in there so the few kids at our wedding don't request it:

At the moment I couldn’t think of any specific song. However, I put no dirty, sex, curse words songs since we are having a more conservative crowd.

We only had one song on our “Do Not Play” list! We’re from Tennessee but will be getting married in Alabama and are huge Alabama fans. The only song on our “Do Not Play” list is “Rocky Top” because there will be a lot of Tennessee fans there so we know someone will request it, but we definitely don’t want it played.

Yes! I know a lot of people pick Ed Sheran for first dances and slow songs, but I have heard his music so much that I just cannot stand it at this point haha, among other music that I just do not like. I also have a list of songs that must be played as well.

Anything Bruno Mars (fH hates his music), Sweet Caroline, and It’s Getting Hot In Here (I have a family member who- if drunk- WILL strip to it)
