Do SMALL Ceremony/Reception Venues near Atlanta, GA exist?

Stephanie, on November 22, 2015 at 3:57 PM Posted in Planning 0 7

Can anyone recommend small venues in Georgia for an outdoor wedding? We are only expecting 50 guests, but most venues are for 200 . I hate to pay extra money for unused chairs, tables, etc. I'd like to keep the reception, including food, at around $5,000.00

Finding a small venue was harder than I thought. We're getting married in the LA area and are expecting ~60 guests. We decided to have the reception dinner at a restaurant with a large private dining room and patio. Maybe that's an option for you to consider.

Try Brawner Hall it's pretty cheap to rent the venue and you can bring your own alcohol. For a brunch wedding, I would try The Atrium, Little Gardens, or The Conservatory at Waterstone. It was a lot harder to find a venue for a small guest count. I thought it would be easy, but it wasn't. Also, try Wahoo grill I think I remember it being reasonable. Good Luck!

The Chattahoochee Nature Center is beautiful, and they have lots of different kinds of spaces.

I wasn't ever a fan of Wahoo grill, I also thought it was a little over priced.

We had 45 guests and married in a historic chapel. Our reception was held in the private room of an upscale restaurant. They were every accommodating. They allowed our florist and baker to come early and set up. The waitstaff also set up the room according to our specifications along with decor. They allowed a live band - which gave us amazing music during dinner as well as the traditional first dance and father/daughter dance. We had a room minimum charge we had to meet and spent about $110 PP which included drinks of any kind.

One of my best friends got married at Roswell Founders Hall in Roswell, GA. It was really lovely and the staff was incredible. It's intimate enough for a small party, but if your guest list grew a little, would still accommodate.

@Stephanie ~ Browse through the WW vendor catalog for some ideas! You can filter based on the number of guests you're expecting Smiley smile ~ https://www.weddingwire.com/shared/Search?type=vendor&qid=1448314394084&name=&cid=11&view_type=list&mm=n&sr=y&geosr=30334&geo=Atlanta%2C+GA&f.vd=0&f.vc=0&sort=0
