Do these orchids look real or fake?

Do these look real or fake? Also, how many stems do you think this centerpiece requires, and how much are real phalaenopsis orchids?

It's hard to tell. But I think either way it should be fine.

I would say fake but only because of all the stems leading down into one space at the bottom. I am assuming the beads are hiding the anchor point at the bottom. Orchid stem don't look like that.

I would also only use one or two orchids depending on how large the flower head is. The beauty of this style, IMO, is the airiness and warm candle light. To me there are too many orchid heads in each vase and the flowers are smooshed. You want the water and light wrapping around it, displaying it.

I actually agree with @Kathleen's assessment. It's hard to tell whether they're fake or not, but the stems looking completely connected at a central point does make me lean toward thinking they're fake. I also agree that a couple less blooms per vase would look more elegant. Right now the amount of pink is a little overpowering and it would be nice to see through to the other side in some places, so you can make out the outline of the blooms that are inside the vase.

Probably fake. Fresh orchids can be very pricey depending on your location and time of year.

Just remember that ALL the flaws of fake are MAGNIFIED in the water.

A stem of these fresh is probably about $60 each, retail, cut.

Dendrobium orchids can give you a similar look for much less cost, and they are fresh.

Fake. That is not the way orchids grow on a stem.

While the blooms look pretty realistic from what I can see, the stems are a dead giveaway. If I hadn't had orchids before, however, I wouldn't know.

    Fake because of the stems.

They look fake to me as well, mostly because of the stems. The marbles in the bottom also make the flowers look artificial to me. You may be able to make it look more realistic with a shorter stem and different filler.

Fake, but only because of the stems. I couldn't tell either way from the flower part.
