Hashtags aren't necessary BUT wedding wire has a hashtag generator that you can use for help! We used it and then took one that it suggested it and modified it a little so that we liked it better! #MaddyAndMitchGetHitched

You don't need to have a hashtag. We weren't going to, and at the last minute just came up with one at the urging of our photobooth company. Literally only 2 of our guests used it.
