I am relatively innocent on this one. I tell the same story. My fiancé actually hates the story because it involves me being drunk and the internet but I think it paints him in a better light 🙃

We met online and we don't mind telling people that. We love that we were a success because online dating gets such a bad rap. However, we don't tell people which site we met on - we fib about it all the time and say we don't remember, but of course we do. Let's just say we weren't supposed to get serious and end up married. LOL.

Never!
We have a 'meet cute' and we even have a particular way of telling it, to boot.
It's a bit tender right now, though, because the dear friend who set us up actually passed away suddenly last week. We're still reeling, and telling that story is a little hard right now.

Innocent. Our story is so unique that there is no reason to change it. I love how we met and how unique it was. The short version is - we both are from New Jersey, moved to South Carolina but met when we were in Florida evacuating from a hurricane.

No I tell them we were at work and went out for happy hour, his version is the more descriptive of why I caught his eye. But those that know us expect that to be true.
