Do you check in with each other throughout the day?

We would text all day long if we could (which we used to), but unfortunately our schedules don't align. He's asleep up until my lunch break and then too busy at work when I'm off of work.

We text throughout the day and I call her on my lunch break. We both have jobs with a decent amount of downtime, so it just kind of happens that way.

I have more down time in my job than FH does. So, he'll send me a text when he's taking a break, or has a free moment. But we always try to have a phone call at lunchtime. He also will send me cute emojis during the day, like flowers, hearts, kissy faces, just to make me smile.

Sometimes we text during the day. Most of the time we are too busy. I get home first so he will call when he leaves work and we will talk on his long drive home.

Yes! we try to but we also have the same schedules so when we’re off in the afternoon we get to kinda have the rest of the day together!

I usually flood him with a ton of texts throughout the day as the need to comment on something or tell him something or send him a meme strikes me. He’s a truck driver for work, so he looks at the barrage of texts I send him when he can, and usually updates me on his day after he gets off work. He doesn’t seem to mind, and says he likes getting so many messages from me xD so I’m gonna keep on doing it.

We text throughout the day. I can always tell when he's busy at work by how long it takes to respond and how long his responses are.

We text or send each other dumb cat photos pretty much all day. There’s always 30 seconds to sneak one in. He’s the king of finding cute cats!

We always text during our lunch breaks. When we're apart there is always a good morning/goodnight text and we touch base as best we can throughout the day.

Sometimes. It depends what the other one is doing. I try not to bother him at work, and when i'm visiting my brother he only calls/texts if it's important. If it's a random day we do, even if it's just an "I love you" or a funny meme

We text all day everyday if it’s possible. If he’s away without cell service is the only time we don’t text. Honestly it’s what keeps me sane when he’s working. He’s a firefighter so he works 48 hours on 96 hours off. Even if there’s time there’s not much to talk about I still love chatting with him throughout the day.

Always, every single day I need to hear from him just once or my day isn't complete.

Always. I try to leave him be during the day... his job can be a little bit more stressful then mine, but he always sends me a quick google hangouts message with "hey babe how's your afternoon going?"

Yeah it’s more on my part!! But he appreciates it, sometimes he calls me on coffee breaks and I love it 🥰
