Do you ever take your engagement ring off? What are your "ring rules"? 💍

I take mine off all the time. And a lot of times I forget about it and leave the house without it. Then my finger feels weird the rest of the day. I don't take it off to shower, but sometimes I take it off before bed because it bothers me - but I also don't wear socks to bed because they bother me, too. I don't know, I'm weird.

I’m a massage therapist so I have to take mine off for work, but it goes in a tiny pocket in my scrubs that nothing else goes in. Otherwise the only times I take it off is when I shower or cook something that would make it gross.

Usually when I go places I wear it.

I wear my ring 24/7. Only take it off when I shower or when I’m putting lotion on my hands. I take it in for cleanings at Jared’s often and I also use jewelry cleaning wipes at home. I literally have a ring tan on my finger from wearing it so much!

I take mine off only for showering, working out, cleaning, and sleeping (mainly because I hate wearing any jewelry to bed at night).

Hi everyone! I do not wear my ring all the time. I have a physical job, so when I go to work I wear a silicone band. Other than that, I wear it! Knock on wood, I have not had any issues at the gym, in the shower, or while I sleep.

I never was a jewelry wearer before getting engaged, so it was a struggle initially to even remember I had something to put on outside my normal routine. I put it on before I leave the house and take it off once I get home. Usually I get right to cooking or cleaning before bed and it’s easier to just put it in the same safe place I always do when I’m not out and about.

My ring only comes off when showering, putting on lotion, or sleeping. I have bad anxiety and feel like if I wear it to bed I might lose it or pull a diamond out somehow. I wear my ring everywhere otherwise I feel naked without it!

I take mine off to sleep, shower, clean, gym and times where I feel I may do something to it lol. Want to make sure to keep it safe.. also when constantly washing my hands or putting lotion on.

I wear my engagement ring with my claddagh ring 24/7. Sometimes I take them off when I put lotion on, but not often.

I take my ring off all the time lol. I’m in nursing school so I can’t wear it there, I don’t wear it when I work out, I don’t wear it when I shower, sleep, cook or clean. When we get married though, I do plan on having silicone rings that I wear when I don’t wear my engagement or wedding bands 😊

I only take mine off if I’m cooking, I’m scared if I take it off I’ll somehow misplace it or lose it so I wear mine non stop besides cooking

I take my ring off most of the time. There's a rule that it should be the "last thing you put on when you leave the house and first thing you take off when you come home" and that's pretty much what I do.

I have a very hands on, physical job (I'm an athletic director so "sweat" is a part of my everyday day), so I wear my ring when I'm doing office work or in meetings or at special events at work, but frequently remove it for activities and either go ring-less or wear a silicone ring instead. I usually put it on when my FH and I go out or have company over and wear it for any "fancy" occassion, but rarely just when we are sitting around the house, and never for yard work, cooking, cleaning, exercise, or other physical or hands on activities.

I got a plain wedding band so I could wear it solo for activities that aren't super hands on but where I wouldn't want to wear my e-ring. I'm not sure how often that will be, but it will be nice to have a low profile option that is a bit dressier than a silicone band for times when I want a ring on.

I wear my ring ALL THE TIME..... unless showering or cleaning! I sleep in it so when I roll over and touch my FH, I see it sparkling on his chest! I LOVE my ring!

I only take my ring off when I work out because with CrossFit your lifting barbells and such and I won’t want to damage it. I’ll also take it off if I’m cooking and having to put my hands in raw meat (we are an Italian house and meatballs arnt bought - they’re made!) other than that, I sleep, shower, and do everything else with my ring on!

I don’t wear mine when I shower, while I’m cleaning, or when I workout. I like to lift weights and I’m concerned about damaging the ring, so I wear a silicone band instead

I wear it all day, but I take it off when I shower, cook and sleep!

I take my ring off to sleep, shower, workout, and if I have to hand wash any dishes. I also take it off long enough to rub hand sanitizer or lotion on if I need it. I read up on when I should take it off when I first got it because I was paranoid that I would ruin it somehow. 😜
