Do you ever take your engagement ring off? What are your "ring rules"? 💍

Always wear it! Except when showering, cleaning, washing dishes, hands-on cooking/baking, or lifting weights. It definitely took some getting used to having an expensive piece of jewelry on my hand at all times, but now I'm so used to it, I need to double check I'm still wearing it sometimes!

Will definitely invest in a silicone band for my workouts once we're married because it kind of feels weird being bare-handed at the gym.

Also, ring dishes ftw.

I guess I follow the S Rule! I take it off when I shower, sleep, and sweat. Whenever I do the dishes, I wear gloves. I feel like this is such a personal preference though. When I first got engaged, I didn't take it off to workout but I quickly saw that lifting weights was damaging my ring so I switched to taking it off. There are some great leggings and sweat bands out there that have little tiny zipper pockets you can put your ring in too

I never take mines off. So it's on when I workout, cook, clean, shower, EVERRRRYYYDAYYY Lmao. I feel naked without it.

I only take it off when I shower and when I sleep at night. I was taking it off when i worked out, but i didnt like leaving it in my gym bag, that made me more nervous than wearing it working out

I usually always have mine on. I definitely get worried at times, having such a beautiful and sentimental ring on, but I just love when I look at my hands and see it there. It's such a sweet reminder that we're finally getting married, and how thoughtful he is.

Although I've never heard of the "Six S Rules" until now, I've always taken my ring off for
showering, swimming, sweating (workouts), scrubbing (cleaning of ANY kind), or sautéing (cooking, if it's messy), but not for sleeping actually.. I just don't want to damage or ruin it in any way!

I take mine off when I shower, workout, cook and clean. I don't want to damage the ring or get anything in it

I wear it with the exception of showering and swimming. I put it in a small bowl in the bathroom when I shower and I have a hook for keys on the inside of my purse so I hook it there inside a locked locker at the gym when I go swimming. I do wear it when I work out, cook and clean but I do wear gloves when I clean. It is recommended not to wear my ring in the shower as it is not diamond but London Blue Topaz.

All the time. But I do try to keep it in it's box whenever I do take it off. The biggest reason is that I've lost some weight and now my ring is big on me and I worry about losing it. Also I stopped being a ring person in jr high after my goth phase LOL.
