Do you get the ushers a gift?

We are giving our readers/greeters/ushers this personalized travel mug from Things Remembered ($20) and a $100 Visa gift card.

I don't plan on having ushers but if I did I probably wouldn't give them anything.

We aren't having ushers, but having our groomsmen do double duty, but I do think that a gift is a nice gesture as they are helping you on an important day

We gave the usher the same things as the groomsmen. He is equally important to us and he is a dear friend and just because his title was "just an usher" didn't mean that he deserved anything less (in our opinion).

We aren't having ushers, the groomsmen will be helping out with the usher duties. But if we did, we would get them something. They are helping you out on your wedding day so it would be polite and friendly.

We did, BUT they were my brothers so I felt compelled to do so. We bought them each a Leatherman multi-tool (one of the more expensive ones), an engraved flask, a small tin of cigars, and a mini bottle of Grey Goose.
