Do you go to weddings solo?

It's funny that I haven't been invited to a wedding in the 3 years we've been together! I have gone to weddings alone, but it's not as much fun as when you have a buddy.

We have only had one friend get married so I'm not sure. But most of our friends are the same.

We always go together

We usually go together, but I have gone to a wedding by myself. The couple had large families, a lot of friends, and a tight budget. So, unless you were married, you came by yourself. I didn't mind and nor did anyone else there!

Hi Jeanie! I find that many people only offer plus ones to couples who are married or soon to be married!

There have been several times FH or I were invited solo and we never go alone in those situations, always decline, I think that’s very rude to not invite a SO. However, there have been situations when we were invited together but only one of us could make it, we go alone in those situations.

I’ve been to weddings without my SO and he’s been to weddings without me. Made a lot of sense since he never met/wasn’t close to the couples of the weddings I’ve been to and vice versa

Not me, but we had a friend that attended a wedding on behalf of her husband while he was out of the country, even though it was her husband’s friend’s wedding (FYI, they were both invited)

My fiance and I have only attended 1 wedding as a couple; he was a groomsmen.

We've been together just over 4 years now, and have only ever attended one wedding since we started dating. We attended together - his niece's wedding in September 2017 - the night we got engaged He did it away from the wedding entirely, though. It was private and just us.

Never. We've only ever gone to one wedding, obviously together. Don't think we'd go to one solo.

In the 5 years we have been together we have never attended a wedding.

If I were asked to go to a wedding and couldn't bring FH, I would go as long as I knew more than just the bride and groom!

Sometimes. We’ve both been invited to 2 weddings and one was family so he came with me. The other was a friend of mine he didn’t know so he didn’t attend.
