Do you have nights for “no wedding talk”?

During the craziness of wedding planning, it’s important to step back and enjoy some wedding-free time together. Do you and your fiancé(e) have nights where you ban the wedding talk? Never, always, or sometimes? Do you find it difficult to limit or is it a much needed break? Next Question: Do you...

Next Question: Do you snuggle... while sleeping?

Or start from the beginning here: Never, Always, or Sometimes?

That's great that you two are able to take time off from the planning for a few days though! Even if it's not a set time or anything!

Not really. He understands my excitement and knows how important each decision is to me. The only time he “no wedding talks me” is when I’m on the brink of an anxiety attack or if I’m starting to feel down about finances about it. He always hugs me kisses my forehead tells me to relax and that everything will work out and be perfect.

We barely talk about the wedding. I always think about it, but he is always so busy with work. I usually don't bring it up and just be us for a night or day.

Ummmm no. I get all of my obsession out in here so I don’t have to drive him crazy. I occasionally ask his opinion on things, but usually I decide on most things.

We really don't have a set day not to talk wedding. I typically am doing something wedding every night, and when he feels like chimming in or has something to add he'll start chatting about it, or if I have a question he never has an issue helping me out Smiley smile

We do sometimes, I get overwhelmed quickly and so we give limits. And when I’m getting too worked up, we take a break and come back to it later when we’re thinking more clearly.

I am just realizing that wedding talk takes up a big part of our conversations and I must admit I do get tired of it lol. I feel it is necessary until everything is complete.

My fiancé and I got engaged 12/23/18 and are getting married 12/18/2020
Every weekend we have done something wedding related, and we are checking out an invitation consult Saturday, but after that, we are having dinner and a movie, followed my a quiet Sunday of zero wedding planning.

No. We don't really have a need for it. I'm good about getting it all out with this app and my girls, so I don't bombard him with wedding talk when we get home. I keep him in the loop about the big stuff, but he couldn't care less about the details.

Sometimes but it wouldn't be because we make it a plan to. It just happens that way and I'm ok with that.

We have a mutual understanding that we need to tackle one thing at a time. We are focused on catering and engagement pictures right now. We have our venue, photographer and florist already picked out and our wedding is in January. I also just bought my dress and am waiting for it to be delivered by August. We have plenty of time to focus on everything so we don't have to spend countless hours talking about it. I could talk about it all the time but I also understand we are still living life and the wedding talk should not always be the #1 conversation starter.
