do you have readers during ceremony? what r they reading?

My MOH is reading a traditional irish blessing, and the best man is reading the history behind the jewish breaking of the glass.

We had "Falling in love is like owning a dog" is was super cute & everyone loved it

We had 3 readings one my sister did was a prayer my aunt read love is kind.reading and I forget what dhs aunt read

We have two readings done by one of my cousins and one of his cousins. We have a quote from a Madeliene L'Engle book and also a quote from the Velveteen Rabbit.

We were going to have a reader (long story) but instead our officiant is reading it.

How about the Love is Patient verse from the Bible? It's I Corinthians 13:4-8. I'm not sure if we'll have a reader though.

I'm thinking about doing the reading of The First Letter of St Paul to Corinthians - FH is half Italian so I would like to incorporate some Italian readings in the wedding somehow

We are also doing the art of marriage. my sisters are reading i,t each one reads half.

We're having two friends who didn't make the bridal party cut read. My friend is reading "The Invitation" by Oriah Mountain Dreamer, and his friends is reading an excerpt from a Douglas Adams book.

I changed around the lines in my poem (is that terrible?) but now both readings end with the word "Yes" and that makes me so happy.
