Do you have your future kids names picked out? or if you have a child what did you name him/her

As a mother of 3 this makes me giggle as I had about 5 names picked out and used ONE! lol You change your mind when it comes and hubby will kill some of it at times. But some people do keep to that one name they love. It's interesting to find out.

FH and I have picked out names that we like....we think we'll end up with boys so we only talked about a couple girl names but we have a bunch of boy names

If we have a girl we like Austin Marie or Piper Dawn

For boys our favorites are:

Jack Breyne (sounds like Brian)

My daughter's name is Leila Jade.

Still debating on a second girl's name, just in case our next is a girl. Haven't really come up with anything yet - Leila was the ONLY name we found while I was pregnant that we just loved and I couldn't think of anything else better.

Our boy's name will be Sylar John.

Before we had our little one we had a few ideas but didnt really know till he was in my belly.

My children's names-

Hailey Maxine

McKenzie Lee Ann

Ayden Joseph.

(All my kids are named after passed family) McKenzie was my grandmother's last name. Hailey and Ayden were not family names but the rest in each name are.

Girl Emma Josephine (my great grandmother his Grand mother)

Boy he wants a Junior. Family tradition.

Our son's name is Aiden James.. if we ever have another boy, we are considering Nhean (knee-en) Gene.. If we have a girl, her name will be Kari Savann.

We already have 5 kids:

I don't know if you noticed, but my car obsessed FH named the last three kiddos with vehicle names. My oldest was originally going to be named Autumn Joy, but when she was born she just didn't look to us like she matched the with name. FH says if we ever have another girl, he wants to name her Odyssey Daylinn, but I keep telling him that our "fleet" is big enough already, lol.

@Dminted I wanted Bentley Joseph instead of Brantley but I'm afraid that my generation will think we named our son after the chick on teen mom's show. That's NOT what I want lol

I have a baby in the belly and we can not decide for shxt! There are lots of names I love but H doesn't, and vice versa. Or there are weird family associations we need to avoid. The family politics of name-choosing. Oy.

My favorites so far (ETA my favorites that we AGREE on lol) are:

We actually started to talk about babies when we got engaged and names...

if we have a boy it would be Julius Donald James (last name)

Julius is my fav name for a boy and my FH's middle name is actually Julius. Donald was his dad's name and James is my dad and brother's middle name, also FH's step dad's middle name.

if we have a girl it would be (can't choose first name) Gwendolyn Joan (last name)

FH wants the name Taryen (pronounced like Karen but with a T) but I want the name Imagen (sounds like Imagine like the song by John Lennon), Gwendolyn is my grandma's name and Joan is my middle name after my mom's mom who passed before i was born...

FH and I just talked about this as we'd like to start trying right after the wedding. I told him all of my favorite names and (much to my surprise) he liked them! We have three names that we like right now.

Boy:

Blake Elliott (first name is after FH's best friend who died a few years ago, middle is a family name on my side)

Girls:

Charlotte Audrey

Harper Grace

...now with my luck we'll have like 17 boys. Hahah.

We have middle names picked out but that's about it.

We figured to be fair as we are using family middle names, if we have a girl first I get to pick the middle name, and if we have a boy first he gets to pick the middle name. Then for the second child, the other one gets to pick.

First child will either have the middle name John or Marie.

Second child will either have one of the above middle names, or if we have two of the same gender, it will be Elizabeth or Robert.

We can figure out first names when I actually get clucky...lol

Our dogs names are Kiara & Kovu

I never had any children, but If I had a girl, I always wanted to use something Greek, like Phaedra or Ariadne.

We have a list picked out that we like.we arent sure yet but whatever we name them they will have 2 middle names because me and both my sisters have 2 middle names and i thought it was cool. my top picks are Revan Riley Nathaniel and for a girl Crimson Ashara Willow

We've picked a couple girl names: Elise (my fave) and Rhiannon (his second or third favorite--I vetoed Margaret). We're not settled on a boy name, but we both like Malcolm.

I want names that aren't wild, but also that not every other kid in the class will have.

We want a kid...eventually. But we have the one and done mentality. If we have a girl we love Rozen Mae. We haven't fully decided on boys names but we've been talking about Victor or Abraham.

Girl - Margaret (Maggie) Mae (FH's idea)

Boy - Robert Ray (Robert was my father's first name, Ray is FH's father's first name).

There's a good chance we could have twins, and if we do, and they are boy girl, I think it would be EXTRA cute.
