Do you have your future kids names picked out? or if you have a child what did you name him/her

We have a 2 year old boy and one on the way due in march

My beautiful little boy is named Landon Robert and the little peanut kicking away is going to be named Connor William - Robert is a family name on both my mom and dad's side and william is a family name on my fiance's side

My 2cents from the elementary school world...take time to see what's popular, and decide it it matters if there are multiple others with that same name. We had 4 kiddos named Gavin in a grade, and 3 ended up in the same class. When I hear Bryce or Aiden, it's a struggle to figure out who they're talking about (I haven't quite put together all the last names with grades and faces of all 600ish kids). Anyway...just throwing that out there.

Our favorite possible kids names are Colette and Miles.

We've talked about it, but I already have 2 from a previous marriage and I can't name a baby until I see his / her face :-)

I'm not sure another is right for me anyway. Time will tell.

I love the idea of using family names and I'm glad to see that other people do too! I don't know of combos for sure but these are what we like:

Emmalynn (Emma for my greatgma and Lynn for FH middle name)

And I will want to use Brooke/Brooks somewhere

And Noah for FH gpa

We have one already, a little boy about to turn 2! His name is Anndon Brock. FH and I loved the names Brock and Aiden, but like Jule G. said, Aiden is such a popular name. Then we thought about how mean little kids can be, and all we could see was a bunch of kids running around like a chicken saying "Brock" to sound like a chicken call. So we toyed with 'Aiden', FH's mom passed away when he was 7, so he wanted to try to incorporate her name into our sons. Her name was Anne, so we dropped the 'e' and added the 'Ann' to the 'den' sound, but spelled it 'don' and fell in love! Then decided to make Brock the middle name since he took FH's last name, Cullen, to give him the ABC initials that FH's mother had as well. We put a lot of thought into our sons name. If we have a girl, we're thinking about sticking with the ABC and including 'Anne' in the name still. So we're thinking about Annelise (Ann-elise) Bernadette. The middle name being the same as my moms.

@ Amy N - I love Colette! It was my name at French Camp. So pretty!

We dont have kids but the names weve agreed on are:

Mackenzie (for a girl) and Dominick Vincent (for a boy)!!

My sons name is Aiden James

we have boy names, tripp,trigger, hunter, ryder

girl names, kynlee, kenzlie, raelynn, rylynn

spelling can change and who knows what else for some reason I can't remember the other one and he named our son

I have 3 Daughters - Dayna Marie, Melissa Anne and Christina Lyn & 2 Grandchildren G'yanna Nevaeh & Jared E-moni. Notice all the girls names end in "A" and each have a part of my name, Lynda Anne. I wrote them out to see how they would look when signing my Christmas cards. It had a nice flow so I went with it. Besides, I love their names and when they came out, they looked like their names suited them.

A girl I used to go to school with added me on fb yesterday and I noticed that she had a daughter.... named Precious. Not even kidding. DO NOT name your kid something someone would name their dog.

Girl- Lillian Grace

Boy- still not 100% sure but Bennett Scott is a top contender

I have not yet had a child but when i do..

Girl: Emery Saphire.

Boy: Jace Thomas.

I had 2 girls names picked out for a while (long before i met my FH) - Kaylee and Carly.

Kaylee was my favorite. But then my sister just had a kid and went and named her Kaylina but they call her kaylie. I'm SO mad she stole my name! I had that claimed for YEARS!

So it looks like a Carly now. FH likes that as well. I am thinking about giving her my moms middle name of Ann. So, Carly Ann.

And for boys well we wont discuss that because thats been a long debate between FH and I and neither of us want to budge. He is very set on naming his first born son after himself. His grandfather and his father and him all have the same first name and it drives me NUTS! When i say a name i don't want 5 people to look up!

So i'm hoping we have all girls!
