Do you keep wearing an engagement ring after marriage, or put it somewhere safer?

I wear mine with my wedding band!! I know a few people that just wear their wedding bands, but not many. I love my ring so I for sure want to look at it daily! I did get a fake ring from amazon that was super inexpensive to wear when I travel though.

Totally up to you. I think most people wear their rings stacked (wedding ring on the bottom, closest to your heart, engagement ring on top) on their left ring finger.

On a daily basis I just wear a single thicker silicone ring and reserve both of my "real rings" for date nights, special occasions, when I want to feel a little extra, etc. I specifically got a simple wedding band (just a plain rose gold band with no stones) so I could wear it on its own for when I wanted something nicer than a silicone ring but was worried about damaging my higher profile engagement ring. It turns out I generally just go silicone or both metal rings together.

Since I got an Etsy ring as an engagement ring, and it’s too big on me, I’ll probably wear my engagement ring on a different finger (that actually fits). I initially would have loved a real stone ring that was my size. And I would have paired it with my wedding band. But since we can’t afford an expensive ring. That’s what I’ll plan on doing.

I am planning to wear both my engagement ring and my wedding band for my day-to-day routine. I like the way they look together better than individually. I take both rings off for cleaning, yard work, etc. to keep them clean and safe.

I am planning on wearing both my engagement ring and my wedding band. I've worn this engagement ring for 4 years now and I feel comfortable wearing it. I'd feel strange without it on and it's a gorgeous piece. When I look at it, I can picture the day I got engaged and it's great. Each piece of jewelry will go well together.

I wear my engagement ring with my wedding band. They were custom made to go together. I do take my engagement ring off when cooking, cleaning, sleeping or doing anything that will damage it. I also don't travel with my engagement ring, only my wedding band. I guess it is a personal preference as one of my friends only wore her wedding band after she got married.
