Do you need all of these kitchen appliances?

I think a good blender would do most of that but a recommend a mixer (hand mixer or stand mixer) as well as if you are baking, a blender won’t mix as well and things will be sticky and I wouldn’t wanna stick my hand near those blades to clean that mess off.

I've spent a lot of time looking at the BB&B checklist wondering why I would register for half that crap.
When I was growing up, bread makers were a hot wedding item. Apparently in the 90s and early 2000s, people forgot that stores sold loaves of bread.
They are a store trying to sell more products. They don't really know what you need. They know they want to sell you or your friends 8 kitchen appliances instead of 1.

The vitamix will do everything you need from a blender, smoothie maker, and it's great for making soups!!

You may still want a separate food processor if you want things really finely chopped, and it depends on what you'd use your mixer for! Apparently you can use a vitamix instead of a stand mixer for baking, but I've never tried it!

Do what's best for you! It sounds like the vitamix is perfect. We have a ton of nice kitchen stuff, so our registry lacks the basic plate set, mixer, etc.
