Do you play the “I don’t know what do you want for dinner?” game?

The never-ending food struggle continues!

How often do you play the “What do you want for dinner?”, “I don’t know what do you want for dinner?” game? Never, Always, or Sometimes?

Next Question: Do you check in with each other before making a big purchase?

I try to plan the week meals, and if I successfully do that we eat whatever I planned, BUT I USUALLY make Monday and Tuesday and by wed I forgot to thaw something I needed or am busy, so then we plan the WHATS FOR DINNER GAME!

Sometimes, not always! I usually cook so we have dinner pre-planned out!

ALL THE FREAKING TIME. Husband is normally a better cook than I am but that is how he grew up. Home cooked meals versus hamburger helper and popcorn chicken for me. lol. I've been trying to plan out a few different meals for us to make throughout the week to take some of that tension away but it never works out as planned. He works a manually labor job so doesn't want to do much when he gets home so I generally try to find something to make for dinner but the last time I made a recipe I found on Pinterest he wasn't too thrilled about it.

It was a cheesy chicken spaghetti. He normally prefers hamburgers, tacos, pizza and steak. So finding a recipe for me to make that he approves of is very rare which is when the whats for dinner game starts. Blah.

Yes all of the time! We both are pretty easy going so neither of us has a strong opinion on dinner so we go through this circle constantly.

YES! Every time! And then there's no point really asking him because I will always get, "I don't know. What do you want to eat?" Or "whatever you want."

If we are going out to eat, yes and for dinner on the weekends. However during the week I do all the cooking, so i make the decisions on dinner

I normally pick the same places to go eat. He’s always saying he doesn’t care.

Yes, but I'm the one who plans our meals, but if he makes a face like ewe, then I'm like what do you want, he says idk anything but that. I'll say what about this... He'll say no I don't want that either, then I'll say I'm eating this you figure out what you want and cook it or buy it... 😂😂😂

For the most part, no. I meal plan and grocery shop on the weekends so I normally have everything for the week and know what I am making each night. We both work full time so I’ve found it’s just easier to have things planned out ahead of time so I know what I am making when I get home and can start right away.

ALL THE TIME! we always end up laughing so hard because we sound stupid. He's allergic to seafood (even the smell) and doesn't like past. MY TWO FAVORITE. So you can imagine my frustration lol

Always!!!! He pretty much always wants Chinese food, and I always want something with cheese - so it's frequently a stalemate!

This meme works for both of us! Smiley laugh
