Hi ladies!

So this is a weird question, do you wear your ring when you exercise outside? I go running a lot and I was just thinking if someone were to try to stop me and try to take my ring haha. I live in a pretty safe place but still, you never know what can happen. I have insurance on my ring to get it replaced no matter what happens to it but I just wanted to know what you guys do or if this has ever crossed your mind!

I can't imagine NOT wearing my ring. My grandfather was a jeweler and even with gold nails and a shit ton of rings, my grandmother did EVERYTHING- work, out in the yard, etc....

Here's the best picture I have access to on my Facebook for reference....

Sometimes I keep my ring on while running. Other times I take it off. If it feels loose that day I take it off. I understand how you feel about worrying about people stopping you and taking your ring - I feel that way sometimes. When I pass people, I usually flip my ring around so that the diamond is on my palm side to hide the shiny part so it doesn't catch anyone's attention.

I don't wear it when I run, but because my fingers swell. I run with pepper spray so I don't worry about someone stealing it.

Unpopular opinion, but I never ever take my baby off. To me, I am far more likely to lose it when I take it off than I am to damage it wearing it. Plus when I don't have it on my hand there is this looming sense of panic lol. So far so good.

Too much work - just leave it on unless it's uncomfortable. Carry some pepper spray perhaps.

When I exercise, or do yard work, I wear a ring that DH made out of copper tubing for me (before he could afford an engagement ring.) Not because I'm afraid of someone trying to steal it but, because I'm afraid I'll accidentally fling it off somewhere.

I wear mine when I am doing simple exercises, but if it's anything strenuous it comes off.

Uhhh, I'm all about gun rights, but wearing a gun while running is not comfortable (I'd imagine). Pepper spray - sure. Less bulky.

I don't wear my rings when I run because my hands swell in the heat.

I never exercise with mine and I pretty much take it off when I get home and put it back on when I leave the house.

I take mine off for exercise, sleep and showers. My fingers swell during the first two so it would be uncomfortable.

I take my ring off as soon as I get home from work because I usually go to the gym or go for a run outside. I cant imagine trying to workout with my ring on.

I leave mine on all the time. I used to take it off for dishes, showering, working out, etc. until one morning I was driving to work (an hour away) and realized my ring wasn't on my finger so I thought I had lost it and called my fiance crying. I ended up stressing all day about it and it was beside my shower when I left home to go find it. Imagine that... I hated that feeling so I keep it on 24/7 now.

Actually, if we go out on the river on our boat I take it off and wear my Qalo ring. Worth the $15 for sure. Also, when I have had to send my ring off to be resized I have had a backup so the Qalo is totally worth it!

I had the same worry. I don't wear mine. But I do wear a silicone band. I got a knockoff brand off amazon. Bonus it's in one of our wedding colors!

I don't, but not because I'm worried about losing it. I take it off when working out because sweat has salt in it and it makes my ring dirtySmiley sad it feels funny wearing it while working out too.
