Do you still wear your engagement ring post-wedding?

Nearly everyone I know wears their engagement ring post wedding along with a wedding band that matches. I plan on doing the same.

I have purchased a band that matches my ring but can be a stand alone also. Sometimes I will just want to wear a band.

It's up to you. My mom doesn't ever wear her engagement ring, just her wedding band, so until I was an adult I honestly had no idea women still wore their engagement rings after getting engaged. MIL also normally wears just her band, and only wears her engagement ring on special occasions.

I normally wear just my band to work, but wear my engagement ring on the weekends or if H and I go out after work to something. H wears a silicone ring to work since he works in a lab setting, and only wears his real ring in situations when I wear my engagement ring.

I, too, have a wedding band that matches my engagement ring. I suppose I could wear my band on it's own. My mom has never worn her engagement ring my whole life but I think I'll always wear the combo

Mine came with its band, so I will continue to wear it after the wedding. But its really your choice on what you want to do!

I wear both of my rings but at some point I may not want to. I got a thin diamond band that looks new Che with the engagement ring or without.

I wear them both. but I got a thin band I can wear alone. To be honest my skin is sensitive, so if I'm not wearing my engagement ring it's probably because my skin is dry/reacting and needs a little break.

I don’t know many people who don’t wear their engagement ring. The majority of people I know who don’t wear it, don’t wear their rings most of the time anyway. I’m planning on wearing mine, because it’s gorgeous and I would feel kinda bad not wearing it after he spent the money on it. I’m really big about that kinda stuff, though. In the end it’s up to you. No one is going to look down on you either way.

I plan on wearing both every day. I do know a lot of women stop wearing the engagement ring after years but many continue forever more.

It's all preference. I wear both my engagement ring and my wedding band because I think my engagement ring is absolutely gorgeous so I don't want it just sitting in a jewelry box forever. It goes very well with my band too and they're comfortable together so why not? If you don't want to wear both, you don't have to.

I wear both, mainly because my band isn't curved. I mainly see women wear both in my area.

I didn’t have my rings soldered so that I would have the option of just wearing my band if I so choose.

Typically I do wear both but I like having the option!

No rules that say you have to or that you can’t. It’s really up to you.

I plan on wearing mine. FH put effort into picking it out and I love it.

I wear both rings most of the time, but I also choose to wear just my band from time to time (if I'm just running to the store or if I know I'll be spending lots of time outside and want to be able to get gloves in and off easily). My e-ring has a lot of curves and I did not like trying on bands that left gaps between my e-ring and the band, so I have a shadow band that fits right up against the curves in my e-ring. Alone, however, the band just has a unique scalloped look to it. Personally, I love it and think that even though it's obviously made to fit into my e-ring, it looks nice on it's own.
