Do you still wear your engagement ring post-wedding?

Most people just add a band, but we're getting new rings altogether. Gonna put engagement rings in memory box.

My fiance'bought my ring as a bridal set, so I WILL definitely be wearing it afterwards!!!

I can't imagine not wearing my engagement ring after being married! I love it so much!

The only time I take it off right now is at night since my hands swell and when I go to the gym. I bought a titanium eternity band with channel set CZs that I wear at the gym & I take it traveling so I can lock the engagement ring in the safe. I plan on wearing mine daily, and pretty much everyone where I'm located does as well. I'll get a straight diamond band to wear in case I do want to wear it alone to the grocery store or something. But I figure we could have bought a car with the amount FH spent on my ring, so I better be wearing it as much as possible.

I’ll definitely continue wearing my engagement ring after, I love it! The bands would like fine on their own, but my personal preference is to keep wearing it.

Heck yeah I'm gonna wear both! My FH went out of his way to get me a gorgeous engagement ring that he's super proud of picking out on his own - why would I just let it sit in a box forever after I get married? I purposely picked a band that semi-matches my engagement ring so I can wear them together.

The only times I don't wear my engagement ring are when I'm at the gym, playing tennis or a contact sport, or when I take it off to soak and clean it. I really can't foresee ever not wearing it just because.

I plan to olive my engagement ring and my FH picked exactly what I would have . My wedding band is just a thin diamond band that can be worn alone, but I don’t see my self not wearing it.

I’ll definitely be wearing my engagement ring with the band. It’s not 100% a match, but they look good together. Also, considering how expensive engagement rings can be, I can’t imagine not wearing it. Plus, it’s gorgeous.

I don't know anyone that stopped wearing their engagement ring after their wedding. I have a beautiful diamond that I love, which my H spent a lot of money on, zero chance I'm just going to have it sit in a jewelry box. I think he'd be really hurt by that, and I don't see the point in buying a ring you're only going to wear for a limited time.

I will be. It's too pretty and cost too much to sit in a box. It is meant to be worn!

I wear both! My engagement ring was super expensive... it is so special to me, I could never put it in a box!

I plan on wearing both. I love my engagement ring and it was to expensive to sit in my jewelry box. After 33 years my mom still wears her engagement ring, in fact, she doesn't wear her wedding band anymore, just her engagement ring.

I wear both! Bands alone are great if you are unable to wear your engagement ring so being able to separate them is great depending on your lifestyle.

I’m obsessed with my engagement ring. I’m even more obsessed with how my two rings go together. I don’t think I’ll ever separate them.

Usually the "proper" thing to do is get a band that matches the engagement ring. Because then, once you're married you send the 2 in to get soldered together making it one ring.

I always wear both. I thought that I may want to wear just the band, not the engagement ring every day, but it’s soooo pretty! I wear them together all the time

Just popping in here to say I also wear my engagement ring only as my wedding ring. The band is split and it’s incredibly sparkly and I’m not really a flashy person. I know a handful of women who only wear their engagement ring as a wedding ring. The only women I know who only wear their bands are nurses and not fond of wearing a stone engagement ring. Personally, I can’t understand why someone would spend so much money on an engagement ring to wear it only for the length of the engagement. You can always get yours soldered together or look for a stand-alone band that matches your e-ring so you can pick and choose.

I believe I will, but maybe not at work! I found something that matches but could also stand alone!

Totally up to your personal preference! Most people I know where both rings, but I also have friends who wear just one or one friend who wears each ring on separate hands!

I picked out my wedding band to wear with my engagement ring, and I'm way too obsessed with my engagement ring to stop wearing it!
