I booked my wedding for October 2020 yesterday and I’m not worried. Vendor didn’t seem worried either. If it’s still like this in August then I would start to worry.

With everything going in currently I think it’s only natural to have some worries. I’m booked for October too and really pray that things get back to normal soon. With seeing that China is getting back to normal I have hope that we to will overcome this.

Sure! Well, we kind of have a Plan B & Plan C (you can never be too prepared) 😆

Plan B — we really want to keep our wedding date of 10/10/20. So, we’d still get married that day with the two of us... and then have semi “vow renewal” and reception celebration with our guests on a later date, at our original venue in Las Vegas.
Plan C — Get married on 10/10/20 with just the two of us. Then have the “vow renewal” and reception celebration in our backyard. We have a nice, large backyard and host lots of parties at our home. So we’re used to it. In September, for FH birthday, we tented the backyard and had a casino night with real gaming tables, dealers, prizes, uplighting, etc. It was a blast! So, we’d rent the same tenting for our wedding reception, add guest tables, uplighting, decor, entertainment and bring our same “Vintage Vegas” style wedding plans here to San Diego instead! 😃

I’m so happy I decided to get on here and read everyone’s thoughts. My wedding is 10-24 & this virus stuff has me so anxious!!!

I was so nervous but I felt much relief after talking to woman on here. If my wedding were 3 months away, my nerves would be shot. Praying everything will be back to as normal as things can be by October. It's still 7 months away!

Hey there! Looks like your wedding date is the day after mine. As of right now we arent worried. I say it might be best to email vendors and just ask them if this virus keeps going and you need to postpone would they move your deposits to another day
