Per my previous post, I had my hair trial yesterday and absolutely loved it. The stylist I'm using works for a salon, but she's doing my wedding-hair on her day off and she set her own rate, and she said I can pay her through Venmo/Zelle or in cash. I'm not sure how to handle tipping in this situation, since she is setting her own rate and I'm paying her directly--not through the salon. (Btw, she did the trial for free but I tipped her generously for that!)
Am I supposed to tip her for the day-of, given the situation?
