Do you wear your engagement ring when you sleep and take a shower?

I also hit the wall while I'm sleeping, but still sleep with it. I also had an imprint on my face for 2 days due to sleeping on my hand. I typically leave it on always unless I'm showering or washing my hands. I have a fear I'll leave it by the sink in the restroom one day so I'm trying a new habit of putting it in my pocket before I wash my hands.

I take mine off when I get home. I use to wear it at home but I was cleaning one time and lost a little diamond. So now I would rather it be safe.

I use to take mine off when I went to bed. Attuned too because I wear my college class ring a lot and if I take that off I usually take my ering off out of habit. But besides for that it's only off when I shower/get ready and cook

I always take my ring off in the shower. It usually stays on when I sleep, but not always. I use my tablet as my alarm in the morning and you can set what the message will be. About 10 minutes before I have to leave for work in the morning a reminder goes off --> "Get your ring and go!"

I've still had times when I'm in my car or already at my destination and realize I forgot to put it back on. My FH just makes fun of me. Sometimes he just messes with me and will hold on to it until we're in the car to see if I remember to wear it. : )

I always sleep with it and do everything with it on except I shower without it on but I put it in my line of vision and away from the sink so I will see it but don't have to worry about it accidently going down the drain.

Never wear to work (Im a nurse, lots of hand washing), never wear to gym, never to bed or when home. I wear when I go out anywhere other than gym or work. I love my ring, but I am afraid to wear it all the time. I am notorious for losing things, and I would be beyond devastated (like mental ward crazy) if something were to happen.

I take mine off for cleaning, dishes and showering. Other than that, never leaves my finger.

I have damaged my engagement ring at work, what used to be nice and round is now kinda oval due to dropping a heavy box with a toilet in it on it as the customer let go of his side of the box without letting me move my hand. I take it off for my showers, cooking and doing dishes. I try to wear it everyday, or as often as I remember to put it on before work, sometimes I forget and then my finger looks naked. I need to get the ring fixed so that the stone isn't loose anymore and one of the prongs is broken. I have also hit it on the cages where the propane is kept.

I take mine off to sleep cause I sleep on my hands , when cooking messy meals, washing my hair, & baths

I only take it off when I shower, put on lotion, or do something messy with my hands.

I only wear mine when I'm out... even then I've forgotten to wear it/not bothered to put it on quite a few times.

I'm not a huge jewelry person and I don't want to risk my ring getting damaged, or lost, if I'm doing stuff like showering or sleeping. FH knows that don't usually wear rings and such and just said to me to do what I'd like and that if I didn't want to wear it sometimes, then it's not a big deal to him.

Rarely wear it, to be honest. I am not really a ring person. John knows this so I don't think he minds too much. He does like it when I wear it during dates with him and when I go out.

I only wear mine when I go out!! It's been a habit to when I get home I take it off and put it in the same spot every night. Then put it on before I walk out the door. I've never been a ring person so I'm honestly glad I haven't lost it yet. I fiddle with it a lot and have dropped it a few times :/ I'm doing the best I can! haha

I only wear mine when I'm out. It is a little loose so it's always spinning around and I'm not a big jewelry person. FH doesn't mind; we both know we're engaged even if I don't wear it.

I keep it on for everything but sleeping and showering. THATS IT. Otherwise, like you, I might forget it. It will become habit eventually. ESPECIALLY when someone notices and points it out "OMG What's wrong, you're not wearing your ring?!" It only took one of those for me to learn to keep it on.

I only take it off to shower, when im cooking/baking w my hands, and work out. I haven't decided if I'll wear it to the beach this summer though!

Also @jennifer r I have to same fear! As soon as I get in the bathroom I make sure the plug on the drain is up!

I only take my ring off if I'm making something messy in the kitchen. I took a pinky ring off once to shower & it went down the drain. So I don't ever take mine off. That's too much money to go down the drain. I have had to have to have it rhodium plated 3x in about a year & a half though. Thank goodness he got the good warranty that covers that.

I never take it off. Like ever. I am thinking of having it implanted into my skin. People might think for one second I am not engaged if I don't have it on 24/7 and they NEED to know. Lol. Jk I take it off all the time for reasonable reasons that everyone should, but I do miss it. I am a trainer and constantly in the gym banging around weights and I am not damaging my ring!

Thats the exact reason why I keep mine on all the time now because I use to always forget to put it back on or I would forget where I put it when I took it off. So now it just stays on all the time
