Does anybody sell David's Bridal regency colored bridesmaid dresses??? :-( Such a tragedy has happened!

Brenda, on July 6, 2012 at 7:35 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 18

Gurls! I feel so sad because I told all my bridesmaids with much time in advance to layaway their bridesmaid dresses and most of them didn't do that. Now David's Bridal has ran out of many regency options and many of my bridesmaids are nagging and complaining about ''how expensive the dresses are''. I'm not a tyrant Smiley sad , plus the ones I adviced were the ones on deals and the most reasonable on their budget.

It seems that ppl think that I'm a cold-hearted bridezilla and it makes me feel bad for something that wasn't my fault, or probably it was, IDK.

By a chance, is anybody selling DB Regency bridesmaid dresses??? Plss I'd highly appreciate so much for your info. I don't know how to handle this drama anymore.

Check with local bridal shops around you (smaller shops). For my friends wedding all of our dresses were "Davids Bridal" dresses, but that shop owner was able to order the exact same dresses/colors/etc.

You can't really sell stuff on this website, but have you tried recycledbride, oncewed or the classifieds section of weddingbee ?

You might find some there. Good luck!

Also, is too late to pick a new style? Maybe have mismatch bridesmaids?

I told them all that I don't give a damn about their model, as long as they chose the same color and store... did so in order to avoid harsh feelings of ''ayyy I dont like it''. The only remaining models are the old ones of many yrs ago and the new but expensive ones Smiley sad

However, even though I did so... they were slow turtles.

I am aware that economy is not favorable for many of us nowadays, but I wasn't recommending them to buy the expensive ones but left it as an option.

There are a few listed on eBay. I did a search for "David's Bridal Regency". Check it out!

Brenda, they can buy a David's fabric swatch if they want to look elsewhere! Just a tip. They are $1 I think. (Maybe 2, but I think $1!)

@Courtney: I have the sample, but haven't found a fabric with the same contrast or tone :-( ...

@Bridesmaid Trade: I put these links on a word format file, so that they can see and choose, thx!

@L.R: Thank you so much, my friend, but I did the same thing and I can't understand why they appear as ''regency'' on the search, but you go to their links and it says the opposite. ANyways, I will find out what's going on.

@soon2beMrsH: When are you getting married and which models did you choose for them???

@Fiona: You made my day lol

    @Patricia: ?????

I have a regency dress in size 8 that I wore for like 2 hours if you still need one. I didn't alter it in any way.
