Does anyone actually remember the proposal??

I remember most of it. It wasn't a storybook proposal or anything. He just knelt down outside of my moms house while we were alone for a couple of minutes. Apparently I didn't actually say yes, I just grabbed the ring and put it on. I don't recall that. I'm pretty sure I said yes and then put it on...I guess we'll never know

I remember mine because he just said "Monika-Rose" and then I laughed and then he said "is that a yes?"

And I was like "you didn't ask me anything".

It was pretty funny.

Yes, we were on the beach in Jamaica watching the moon rise and he proposed. When we got home everyone was asking what he said when he proposed and I have no idea. Lol.

LOL! I am with you on this one. I recall him getting down on one knee, saying some sweet things, his asking me to marry him and then us hugging and kissing. I couldn't tell you what that man said otherwise. I think I was just in the moment and in a daze staring at his hand holding mine and the ring box.

I know everything except for what he said lol. I feel like I blacked out when I saw the box and I literally have no memory of what his exact words were.

I can't really relate with that but I also kind of have a tingly feeling he was going to propose. Since you were completely surprised with no idea he was going to do it you were probably just in shock which would explain the loss of memory. At least you know he was saying sweet things even if you don know exactly what :-)

I remember all of mine very clearly. The first one was a train wreck. Lol it was funny now but main. The whole night. Poor guy. I totally ruined it. Oh well.

Yes but only because he made sure to record the entire proposal and most of it (including a letter he wrote for me) is in the scrapbook he used to propose. Having it recorded was one of my very few wishes when he was asking about ideal proposals.

I remember everything leading up to it. I don't remember him pulling it out or opening it. I don't remember even seeing the ring in the box or what he said. All I remember is hugging him and crying after he told me he asked my parents for my hand. I don't remember absolutely anything in the moment haha.

Yes, we all do!! Such a fun night on the beach in Puerto Rico.

He said "I'm going to propose to you now", completely at random right before he knelt down lol. So cute.

I don't really remember mine, it was all a blur. I was shocked and speechless. We have a video and everytime I watch it it doesn't feel like I'm watching my own proposal if that makes sense. lol

I have no idea what he said, something along the lines of starting a new chapter of our lives together.... I wish I had listened more to his words and not been so shocked and focused on the actual event. Because now when I ask him what he said he even says "I dont remember"! Lol

I remember the 'formal' proposal with the ring (it helps that I immediately started calling people and retold the story, and then wrote it down for our 'facebook official' announcement. I tried pointing out to my sister where exactly in Wal-Mart we were when he asked if I wanted to start looking at rings, and wasn't sure. I also can't remember much of what he said then.

I kind of blacked out when I realized what was happening. I remember it, but I burst into tears immediately, so it's kind of a mess after he dropped to his knee! I'm not totally sure what he said!

I remember! I was shocked because the night before we'd had a discussion (I had a minor freakout) and he reassured me he still wanted to spend his life with me and he was sorry I didn't have a ring yet. So when he started proposing, he asked me if I gamble (it's a song lyric) and I was thinking, what the heck is he about to make me do?! I am NOT going in that creek over there! Then he got down on one knee! He kind of mumbled will you marry me and I laughed and leaned down to kiss him and made him stand up and hug me. I didn't even look at the ring or say yes! Finally, he was like, so I have this ring for you, is that a yes?

I do because it was simple. FH was talking about one of our dates at the beach we were at and then asked me to marry him like he often did. We knew we were going to get married and he would often ask jokingly. I said okay and he said no seriously and got down on one knee. I remember seeing ring and grabbing him and hugging him. His knee didn't even make contact with the ground. I actually didn't look at the ring because I was just so happy. I also forgot to say yes. Lol
