I'm hoping this isn't just me ... but I have absolutely no memory of the time of what happened after my FH pulled out the ring box from his suit jacket. The next thing I remember is him standing up saying my name. Aaaah! Haha we've been together for almost 5 years and he completely surprised me -...

Haha we've been together for almost 5 years and he completely surprised me - I've never been speechless before. And then after he brought me back I did manage to choke out a yes! But has this happened to anyone else? I feel kinda bad because I know that he was saying really nice things and he was down on one knee ...

No. I didn't remember all of it. We were at the cruise with approx 100 people. I knew it was coming as my mom and friends were acting funny and I was pretty nervous. All I remember was people watching us and me crying. Good thing my friends caught it on video and I was like "ugh. That was really embarrassing". FH watches it often and laugh.

FH was nice enough to record the whole thing for me, so I have that to look back on. But I know what you mean about it feeling like a blur!

I remember the setting and him down on one knee- but what he actually said? One big blur of excitement and ohmygodtgisishappening!

I remember how and where it happened, couldn't tell you for the life of me if he said anything before asking me to marry him.
