Does anyone actually use the Weddingwire Guest App?

I didn't, but I also think most people aren't going to want to download another app on their phone just for a person's wedding. Guests just texted/emailed us any pictures they took that they wanted to share with us. Your bridesmaids are your nearest and dearest and the most involved in your wedding. If they weren't keen on it, I can't imagine your guests would be either.

I've never been asked to download an app as a guest, but I can also pretty confidently say I wouldn't do it. As a guest, I do the following things: look at the wedding website and make note of any relevant details, carry the invitation with me on the day of the wedding, and share photos with the bride/groom after the wedding via text/email/cloud service/etc.

I asked a few close friends and family to post pictures to the app.


It was near impossible for them to upload videos and also difficult to upload many photos at a time.
That being said, I did get a lot of photos tans it was nice to browse the day after because I wouldn’t be getting professional photos back anytime soon
