Does anyone even get gifts from registry?

Sometimes people do it closer to the wedding date, that's what happened to me.

Your shower has not happened yet. People tend to buy gifts last minute.

I agree with PPs that people procrastinate. I wouldn’t worry about it.

Even if it's an online registry, people may have gone to a brick and mortar store to buy things off the registry. Some people prefer that over online shopping.
But yeah you still have time. The last shower I went to I think I was finishing assembling their gift basket like the day of the shower.

Yes, people still buy gifts off registries but they usually wait until the week of the shower or even the wedding. We had 3 registries (Macy's, Pottery Barn, and Williams Sonoma) and had nearly every item purchased.

My shower isnt until Aug 18th and I've already had almost 10 gifts purchased from my online registries so just be patient!

There's still a while to go, some people buy gifts for wedding or in between the shower and wedding.

As others have said, gifts will most likely be purchased closer to the date of the shower. My shower is this coming Saturday and I know a few gifts have come in this past week. They go to FH’s office and he has said his sister & mother (they all work together in a family business) will bring them to the shower instead of us opening them this week.

I got so much off my registry. However, when I went to my SILs shower this weekend it looked like she had hardly any gifts. I think a lot of people may have given her money or giftcards. I only saw one or two gifts that weren't on her registry. They were personalized. You'll be alright.

We had almost everything on our registries purchased by the time our wedding came around.

I just had my bridal shower two days ago and only one thing from our registry was bought. Everything else was picked by people with their own taste and things that won't go with our apartment. We have double of a few things so I'm a bit annoyed myself to say the least. I'm hoping it won't be the same with the wedding gifts. Grrr.
