Ugh, I feel you!! I had 5 gifts pop up the DAY before my bridal shower. Wedding is 8/24/19 and we still only have 7 or 8 total gifts purchased from the registry.
I’m hoping that people just wait until right before... :/

I didnt get anything until at my shower, my friend ordered a couple days before the shower and amazon let me know someone purchased - I opened the gifts at the shower bc they were sent to her house. I think people wait until the last minute lol

I'm seeing the exact same thing happen with mine. My shower is Aug 10th and only 3 items have been bought. As PP have said I'm hoping people are just procrastinating!

I think a lot of people wait until the last minute! Haha I actually just recently helped a friend shop for a shower gift the night before the event 😂 a few things were purchased from ours so far but I think mostly from people who aren’t able to travel for the shower

I had two bridal showers - a surprise one where all of my coworkers chipped in for a gift off of my registry as well as some stuff that wasn't on my registry and a planned one where I got one gift off of my registry and the rest of it was nothing I registered for. But I'm one of the lucky ones who actually loved and didn't realize I needed what I got until I got it! Kitchen towels, reusable bags (with my home state on it! So thoughtful), coasters, etc. Apparently my girlfriends know me better than I do! Lol!
Also I had quite a few people send me gifts after the wedding! Lol, we had a registry on Amazon and a honeymoon/cross country move fund. So some people gifted money or had presents shipped to us after the wedding but we didn't mind at all!

People will buy gifts last minute. I checked the numbers on my registry the morning of our wedding shower last weekend, and they hadn't changed. We received several gifts off our registry, so people bought them on the way.

Don't stress about it, but know that if you get gifts you don't like or want, you should be able to exchange or return them.
