Does anyone regret wearing their hair down ?

iris, on January 20, 2020 at 4:14 PM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 9
I’m still contemplating wearing my hair down but I’m nervous it might go flat or get frizzy by the end of the night. I definitely plan to dance so it I so get sweaty that might be bad too haha. Anybody have any regrets wearing their hair down on the day of their wedding!!? Or know if anyone who has, thanks

I would love to if my hair actually could hold a curl for more than 5 minutes. Even with Salpn curls, they fall out

I wore mine half up, half down with clip in extensions. I'm so happy I did! I think I look way better with my hair down and my husband agrees. I felt very beautiful & bridal, my hair didn't get frizzy or lose curls by the end of the night and I didn't get too hot or anything.

Mine wasn’t fully down but it was mostly lol... like I guess it was “half up half down” but really it was mostly down, just pulled back a little. I didn’t regret it at all, it held in place perfectly. Our ceremony was at noon and I didn’t take my hair out until midnight and it didn’t get frizzy through all that, even though it rained in the evening. If you’re worried about it getting flat, maybe do something like this where it’s still mostly down but just pulled back a bit, that should help maintain the volume 🤷🏻‍♀️

I am in the same boat!! I am getting extensions so I’m hoping it helps. I think for my trial I will try having it half up with curls and after if it doesn’t stay for as long as I need them to I’ll just do an up do on the day of.

I wore my hair down—parted in the center with big curls. My hair is naturally wavy and both straightens and curls easily. My hair stylist's technique and whatever products she used made my curls last all day, with no fallout or frizz.

Mine was half up half down but honestly my hair does not hold curls that well so i think the curls unfurled anyway.

do i regret having it down though? at times. mostly because i had a pretty back but you couldn't really see it since my hair was down and long. however, i tried updo and it did not look good on me.

I'm wearing mine down because I always wear it down - I NEVER wear my hair up, so I'm not going to do it for my wedding either. I get super frizzy hair if there's any moisture about, but I'm wearing half my real hair and half of a 3/4 wig to add volume, and then blending my natural hair with it. Hopefully the weather cooperates.

If you are having a stylist do your hair, they should be able to lock in your style and keep it from getting frizzy. If not, I'd recommend Redken Forceful 23 Hairspray. It combats humidity (including from body heat while dancing). Use a lot of it to lock things in! Smiley heart

I wore my hair half up and I don’t regret it! Wearing my hair up isn’t like me at all.

Only if the wedding hall and reception are fully air-conditioned that I won't get sweaty or anything that I can wear it down
