Some people decide to have the officiant walk with the groom and others choose to have the best man walk with the groom.

I have seen the Groom escort his FMIL (or mother if parents are together or she is alone) to her seat and then continue to the alter/front.

My husband was escorted by his parents and got to have a hugging/photo moment at the start of the ceremony/music playing. It was super emotional and lovely

There are a number of different traditions, but one is for the officiant to lead the groom and groomsmen down the aisle after the parents have been seated. I've also seen the men just line up in front. We had our parents walk us down the aisle - DH had his mom walk him and I had my two parents walk with me. But really you can do whatever you want!

My FH is choosing to walk himself down the aisle, but some of our friends have had their parents walk down with them, especially the husband's mother. I don't think there is any one way to do it though.

My fh will be escorted by his mom. We really want to honor her and their relationship. Since she has no date this felt right.

My husband walked his mother down the aisle and then stood up front while the rest of us walked in.

His parents are going to walk together since his dad is the officiant, he can see his mom to her seat. The groom will be walking my older best friend to her seat. She said she's too old to be a bridesmaid but I want her to be part of the wedding and special so my MOH said she could be walked down like a mom/grandmother. They're 2 of my favorite people so I like the idea of them walking together.

It depends on your culture. My FH will be walking in with the officiant, and that is how it has been done at most of the weddings I have attended. One of my friends husband is Brazilian, and in their culture the mother walks her son down the aisle.

My groom is walking down the aisle with his mother. His parents are divorced, so his father will walk with his wife. My mother is remarried too, so she will walk with my stepfather.

My FH will be walking with his mom. They’re close and I thought it would be so sweet and cute!
