Does my wedding ring overwhelm my e-ring?

Hannah, on December 4, 2023 at 9:28 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 1 4

I just got my wedding band today and the more I look at it, the more concerned I am that it's overwhelming my e-ring. What do you all think? My e-ring is a princess cut .69ct, 4x4ish mm ring; very dainty. My wedding band is 2.35tcw, and the stones are approximately 5x3mm each. Excuse the dirty dishes in the background btw lol.

They are each lovely, but I have to agree with you that they don't look proportional to one another. You could always wear them on separate hands. The wedding ring can definitely stand on its own.

It's a beautiful band, but it over powers your engagement ring.

I agree, they don’t really match. I’d wear just the wedding band, maybe the e-ring on the right hand. Some people stop wearing their e-ring entirely after the wedding, nothing wrong with that.

Both rings are pretty! While they don't look terrible together, I do agree with you that the wedding band overwhelms the engagement ring. If you love the band and want to stick with it, you could always wear your engagement ring on your right hand instead. That would allow both rings to shine on their own.
